A fabulous company of 19 AmEgos and a band of 13 outstanding musicians brought Cole Porter’s legendary musical comedy to life, in spring 2025!
Written as a 'show within a show', Kiss Me, Kate has backstage shenanigans, Shakespearean sonnets and singing gangsters – not to mention a romance that’s just too darn hot – and a full-scale orchestra performing the show tune classics Brush Up Your Shakespeare, Too Darn Hot, Always True To You (In my Fashion) and Tom, Dick or Harry.
A simple love story about two people who just can’t stand each other, Kiss Me Kate is unmissable all-zinging entertainment with ‘great songs, hot dancing, smart gags and glorious characters'

What the audiences said ....
AmEgos have done it again! What a thrill to see a show so recently on the professional stage in London, performed by this talented local company. With slick performances, live music and many laughs to be had, AmEgos keep delivering! (LP, Faringdon)
AmEgos performance of Kiss Me, Kate was playful and fun, showcasing AmEgos talents for singing, dancing and putting on a show. Some standout performances were the gangsters, Sam the stage manager and Lois (JM, Faringdon)

Fabulous! I can't stop grinning! (AD, Newbury)
Well done to everyone in Kiss Me, Kate for such a great show tonight. It was very entertaining and funny, as I'm sure you can tell from the audience reaction, and the renditions of those well-known and well-loved songs (the singing and the orchestra) were fabulous! (JC, Grove)
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this- it is brilliant! The acting and singing was amazing (TH, Facebook)
If I had 100 thumbs, I would put them all up! (RP, Abingdon)
Fluid, vivid, brilliant! I loved this performance, with AmEgos excelling in packing a punch with Shakespeare. Couldn't take my eyes off the fab choreography with its crowd scenes, dancing, acrobatics and fights. Sharp diction, accents, ace singing and great characters too. Plus a wonderful onstage band. Thank you to you all (AD, Marlborough)
What an awesome show you put on last night ... brilliant! (LC, Challow)
